True Being is a beautiful read. It revolves around the three themes: Love, Life, Relationships. The author has displayed his feelings about these topics splendidly. The gorgeous illustrations in the book are enchanting enough to captivate the reader. The author at the begging of the book suggests to not to read this book in one sitting. It is an amazing advice as the reader could understand the topics and the depth of them gracefully! Being a huge poetry lover, I loved this book, especially in this book, every poem is described, to make the reader understand the full meaning of the poems.
In the first theme, the poets explores through the different forms and aspects of love. The feeling of love was well formed in the book, especially the unrequited love.
In the second theme, ” Life”, the poet explores through out ideal life, our happiness, our choices and everything related to our lives. I loved this part of the book especially as it was undoubtedly relatable. One can easily relate to the situations in this prose.
In the third theme, “Relationships”, the author explores through the different aspects of a relationship. He throws light on both, the negatives and the positives of the relationships which makes it more mesmerizing!
The elegance of this book lies in the simplicity of the words! The cover and the title are appropriate for the book. Recommended to all the poetry and prose lovers

March TBR!

2019 has not been a great reading year for me till now But in March I want to read these amazing books to improve it-

1. And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie
Blurb
First, there were ten—a curious assortment of strangers summoned as weekend guests to a private island off the coast of Devon. Their host, an eccentric millionaire unknown to all of them, is nowhere to be found. All that the guests have in common is a wicked past they’re unwilling to reveal—and a secret that will seal their fate. For each has been marked for murder. One by one they fall prey. Before the weekend is out, there will be none. And only the dead are above suspicion.

This book has been highly loved by everyone and strongly recommended by @under_a_pile_of_books on instagram!
2. Bombay Brides
Blurb
When Juliet and Romiel get married and relocate to Israel, they rent out their Apartment 107 in Ahmedabad’s Shalom India Housing Society to Jews. Each character who inhabits the house has a story to tell: about run-ins with the other residents, the diminishing community of Jews, cross-cultural conflicts, and the difficulty of choosing between India and Israel. Prophet Elijah, whom the Bene Israel Jews of western India believe in, plays an important role in their lives, appearing at critical or amusing moments and wreaking havoc with his mischief, but ensuring that ultimately peace prevails. Bombay Brides – as most Jewish men of Ahmedabad are married to women from Mumbai – is drawn from Jewish homes in Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Kochi, Kolkata and Alibaug. This is a story about home, heritage, rites, rituals, roots and what it means to be one of the last surviving members of a community in a vast multi-cultural country like India.

I have started reading this book and loving it. I bought this book while randomly buying books at the book fair and it is turning out to be great :))
3. Miss Laila, Armed and Dangerous
Blurb
On the day that Hindu nationalists have won a spectacular election victory, a building collapses in Mumbai. The rescue operation finds a single survivor in the debris. The only person able to reach him is Akhila Iyer, a medical student who is also a notorious social media prankster. She finds him mumbling in delirium that two people are on their way to carry out a terror attack. Elsewhere, a young intelligence agent, Mukundan, is assigned to shadow the two terror suspects
The blurb itself has made want to read this book badly!Hoping to pick it this month as soon as I finish my current read ^_^
4. Before We Visit The Goddess
Blurb
A beautiful, powerful new novel from the bestselling, award-winning author of Sister of My Heart and The Mistress of Spices about three generations of mothers and daughters who must discover their greatest source of strength in one another—a masterful, brilliant tale of a family both united and torn apart by ambition and love.

The daughter of a poor baker in rural Bengal, India, Sabitri yearns to get an education, but her family’s situation means college is an impossible dream. Then an influential woman from Kolkata takes Sabitri under her wing, but her generosity soon proves dangerous after the girl makes a single, unforgivable misstep. Years later, Sabitri’s own daughter, Bela, haunted by her mother’s choices, flees abroad with her political refugee lover—but the America she finds is vastly different from the country she’d imagined. As the marriage crumbles and Bela is forced to forge her own path, she unwittingly imprints her own child, Tara, with indelible lessons about freedom, heartbreak, and loyalty that will take a lifetime to unravel.

In her latest novel, Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni explores the complex relationships between mothers and daughters, and the different kinds of love that bind us across generations. Before We Visit the Goddess captures the gorgeous complexity of these multi-generational and transcontinental bonds, sweeping across the twentieth century from the countryside of Bengal, India, to the streets of Houston, Texas—an extraordinary journey told through a sparkling symphony of voices.

I am currently reading this book and it is undoubtedly beautiful.Knowing about Sabitri’s experiences is brilliant!
5.From Twinkle, With Love

Blurb
An aspiring teen filmmaker finds her voice and falls in love in this delightful romantic comedy from the New York Times bestselling author of When Dimple Met Rishi.

Aspiring filmmaker and wallflower Twinkle Mehra has stories she wants to tell and universes she wants to explore, if only the world would listen. So when fellow film geek Sahil Roy approaches her to direct a movie for the upcoming Summer Festival, Twinkle is all over it. The chance to publicly showcase her voice as a director? Dream come true. The fact that it gets her closer to her longtime crush, Neil Roy-a.k.a. Sahil’s twin brother? Dream come true

When mystery man N begins emailing her, Twinkle is sure it’s Neil, finally ready to begin their happily-ever-after. The only slightly inconvenient problem is that, in the course of movie-making, she’s fallen madly in love with the irresistibly adorable Sahil.

Twinkle soon realizes that resistance is futile: The romance she’s got is not the one she’s scripted. But will it be enough?

Told through the letters Twinkle writes to her favorite female filmmakers, From Twinkle, with Love navigates big truths about friendship, family, and the unexpected places love can find you.

I have read around 60 percent of this book and I am loving it! I love the vibe around the book. I am especially loving that the book is in form of journals by Twinkle!♡
