Sahil: oh-so-sweet Sahil. Twinkle’s lover♥️ and twin brother of Twinkle’s crush, the popular guy. Sahil wants to get recognized as an indivisual while he gets associated with his brother.

He’s perfect boyfriend material,my heart said. Swoony, respectful, smart, kind, passionate…

Twinkle’s dadi (grandmother) : I can’t help but adore her! The person always by Twinkle’s side.

“Dadi was afraid of the voice mail feature on our landline, but sure, messages coming through water from our ancestors she had no problem with.”

This is the first book I read by Sandhya Menon. And indeed, I look forward to read more books by her! Writing style is so quirky and fun, it makes the book a light, heart-warming read.♥️

This book has light hearted humour and deep convesations.

“Our best friends, the ones we love the most, are the ones who can hurt us the most. Because look.” She pointed down to the powders. “We have had so many interactions with them, deep, meaningful interactions, that we cannot separate their pieces from ours. And if we try, we would only be getting rid of some of the best parts of ourselves.”

This book is presented in the form of journals and as a journal enthusiast, it made me love the book more!

The book does not discuss the typical “heads over heals” love. It faces reality!
