Underrated Books according to me #TheBookBlogTrain

Greetings from Somewhere series by Harper Paris

This series is the best thing that had happened to me in childhood! These books made me start reading. This series travels through the experiences of a brother and a sister discovering the unknowns! The illustrations can easily charm the read, they are the books you can read in one sitting!

Queen of Ice by Devika Rangachari

As in every reader’s life, there is a time when they don’t read and then they find one perfect book to continue reading and this book was the one for me! I have also met and interviewed Devika Rangachari. As her words she has also inspired me in real life! She made me realize the power of reading. I am undoubtedly grateful to her! This book discusses three charachters coming together having different lifestyles – Valga, Nirvana and Dida, but having one thing in common: lack of parental love! Parental love makes a child mild, but these three weren’t blessed by that! It also discusses the life Queen and how she struggled to become the Queen! Read the full review here-

Polka Dots, Pony Tails and Purple Pouts by Amrita Anand Nayak

This book deals with the story of three roomates! Each having different pasts and how it is affecting their present. Chick-lit is one of my favourite genres and this book explores this genre beautifully. The theme of this book and the writing are indeed appealing. The charachters are presented so gracefully, their past and their present, I can’t stop adoring this book!

A Daughter’s A Daughter by Agatha Christie writing as Merry Westmacott

This book discusses the relationship of mother and daughter. The complexities, the purity, everything! It discusses these topics beautifully. I loved how Agatha Christie ended the novel! This was the first book I read by her; I haven’t read any of her crime stories. But look forward to read more books by her!
